Spotter makes visiting zoos more interactive and memorable. You can browse participating zoos, explore the animals they have, and snap or upload photos as you go. Spotter will suggest possible animal matches right on your device, and each sighting is automatically saved to your personal library—organized by zoo and by the day of your visit.
What Spotter does
Start with a list of participating zoos, then open each zoo's animal collection to see what you can discover on-site.
Search within a zoo, keep favorite animals close, and filter the collection down when you want a faster path through the park.
Open rich animal pages with photos, facts, and your own saved shots so each sighting keeps building context.
Take photos in the app or pull them from your gallery, whichever fits the moment best while you move between exhibits.
Let on-device image classification suggest likely animal matches so logging a sighting feels quick instead of tedious.
Check the suggested match, correct it when needed, and save only when it looks right so the user stays in control.
Build a personal library grouped by zoo and day, so great moments do not disappear into a crowded phone gallery.
Track first-photo moments, zoo-specific milestones, unique animals, and repeat-visit streaks that reward coming back.
Enter fast with a guest flow and keep the experience casual, approachable, and ready for spontaneous zoo days.
Why it works so well on-site
Spotter turns passive browsing into a collecting loop by helping you discover animals, log photos quickly, and build a visit-by-visit record you actually want to revisit later.
Because classification, favorites, and saved photos stay local-first, you get the convenience of smart suggestions without giving up control of your data.
Reduces friction when logging photos by suggesting likely animal matches instead of making every sighting a manual lookup.
Preserves privacy better than a cloud-first workflow because classification and your saved visit history stay under your control.
Keeps the experience low-commitment with guest access, favorites, milestones, and unlocks that encourage repeat visits without heavy setup.
